Many Steel Fabricators and Steel Service Centers have installed High Density, Multiple Part Magnetic Handling Systems from Permadur Industries, Inc. to increase the productivity of their Plasma Cutting Operations by dramatically reducing the material Handling time required to offload Cut Parts and Skeleton. Some Permadur customers have purchased multiple units due to the increase productivity realized with their original Permadur System installation. Reduced material handling time results in increased Torch "on" Time, which means higher productivity and lower costs for both Steel Fabricators and Steel Service Centers.
Permadur Lifting Magnets, which are electrically controlled permanent Magnets, will not drop a suspended load due to power failure, faulty wiring, or misoperation of controls. Many Permadur Systems are integrated with the supporting Crane Radio Controls. No Backup Battery System is required and no power is consumed by Permadur Magnets during lifts. Permadur Systems can provide single plate handling off a stack and will not pick up burn table support slats.
