From the PI-250 kit press to the robust floor standing PI-12000,
Permadur presses are driven by all Electric Servo Motors.

Why We Use Servomotors?

SPEED!
Servomotor speeds up to 7,500 rpm allow maximum application speeds. Machine throughput is limited by process speed, not machine speed.

ACCURACY!
High resolution encoder feedback generates up to 32,640 counts per revolution providing smooth torque, precise positioning and a very high level of accuracy. Adjustments for print pressure, print speed, and other critical parameters are entered in thousands of an inch, inches per minute, and milliseconds rather than coarse knob, dial, or gauge adjustments.

RELIABILITY!
AC brushless servomotors, servo drives and motion controllers offer production proven systems and a guaranteed 5 years of performance. Decorating machines driven by servos require minimal maintenance, other than light oiling from time to time due to the reliability of the servos.

EXTREME PROCESS CONTROL
Features such as force mode stamping, exact penetration control during dwell, and settable software limits are just a few of the features that can not be duplicated using air or hydraulic controls.

ENERGY EFFICIENT!
By eliminating the need for inefficient compressed air, incoming electrical power is converted directly to print motion. With typical energy savings the machine will PAY FOR ITSELF in 2 to 4 years of normal usage.

REPEATABILITY!
All servomotors are coupled with mechanical drive elements to provide machine resolution as fine as .0001 inch. In addition, high speed digital communication between the controller and servo drivers provides precise repeatability. Consistent printing quality is achieved because of the repeatability of the servo system. With each print cycle, a servo controlled machine will repeat the exact print motion, with the exact speed and accuracy as the previous print motion.

REDUCED SET UP TIME!
All functions are programmable, saved and recallable by the operator, up to 124 decorating set-up programs may be stored.
